FRPC submissions to the CRTC and other regulatory authorities
Hello,
Please find attached a copy of the procedural request that was filed a short time ago with the CRTC. Courtesy copies were also sent to Scott Shortliffe (CRTC's Executive Director, Broadcasting) and Jade Roy (CRTC Hearings group).
Thank you very much for your time and patience in dealing with this matter so expeditiously. Altogether the request was signed by 12 parties.
PIAC and FRPC will each be posting a copy of the request on their websites - you may wish to post the request on your websites as well. We also plan to tweet about it: here is the link to FRPC's page with the request - https://frpc.net/frpc-submissions-to-the-crtc/ in case you'd like to tweet about it but are not able to post it on your site.
As the weekend will soon be upon us, we may or may not see the request posted on the CRTC's 2023-138, -139 and -140 proceedings page: https://applications.crtc.gc.ca/instances-proceedings/Default-Defaut.aspx?S=O&PA=B&PT=NC&PST=A
The CRTC's historic practice has been to provide a very brief window for interested parties to file comments on such requests. If I notice anything in the near future I will let you all know.
Thanks again for your time, and I hope you all have a pleasant weekend,
Monica. Monica Auer, M.A., LL.M. Executive Director Forum for Research and Policy in Communications (FRPC) Ottawa, Ontario Canada
